Dead Hands (2010)

Haunted by the trauma of war and unable to sleep, Ben struggles to readjust to civilian life. He’s finally granted leave to see Sophie, his girlfriend, whom he hasn’t seen since before the war changed him. Arriving at the airport hotel, Ben is exhausted and experiencing disturbing hallucinations, exhibiting a childlike yet volatile demeanor. Though he desperately wants to protect Sophie, he fears he might lose control. This is a story of potential damnation and the possibility of redemption, where Sophie may be the key to proving Ben's innocence. Or at least, that’s one perspective.
