Description:
Iris, a teacher in her early forties at a Fine Arts School, gives her students an assignment: a Free Subject, at a time when societal norms are being questioned. The 20-year-old students are excited by the open-ended nature of the task, and they collectively build an unrestrained "imagination factory." One student, Yorgos, discovers Iris’s lost cell phone and uses it as inspiration for a project that imagines her life. His Free Subject explores the boundaries of individual freedom in modern Western society.
