A group of outcasts has built a life for themselves on a rooftop above a feed mill and a waste treatment plant, living off discarded food and avoiding society. Lisbeth, Herbert, and Walther have created a self-sufficient haven. Herbert hunts for cats, Lisbeth grows vegetables, and Walther scavenges for useful items from the nearby dump. Their peaceful existence is shattered when a mysterious stranger in a suit appears and sets up camp. He remains silent but clearly intends to stay, causing anxiety among the rooftop dwellers. Will he disrupt their carefully constructed world, or can they find a way to include him?
