Description:
Fifteen-year-old Melania becomes pregnant with her classmate, Emi. She keeps the pregnancy a secret from everyone, including Emi and her parents. The situation is complicated because Emi's mother is the school principal and Melania's mother works at the same school as a secretary. In her fifth month, Melania faints at school and is rushed to the hospital, where it's discovered she's five months pregnant, making an abortion impossible. Melania's mother is forced to reveal the truth to Emi's mother, who insists Melania's mother keep the pregnancy a secret from everyone, including Emi. The girls' mothers separate them and decide to arrange an adoption for the baby to a Romanian family abroad who are not legally permitted to adopt from Romania.
