Description:
After serving in the English armed forces, including a tour in Afghanistan, Dr. Watson returns to England. Facing financial hardship, he accepts an offer from his friend Mr. Stamford to rent a room at 221B Baker Street from Mrs. Hudson. He discovers the second room is occupied by the enigmatic Mr. Sherlock Holmes. Holmes is a man of contradictions: brilliant in areas like chemical analysis and criminal law, yet surprisingly ignorant of basic facts. He’s deeply involved in strange activities, receives unusual visitors, and surrounds himself with portraits of unpleasant people.
