After thirty years in the U.S., businessman Zuhair Chmila brings his wife Yvonne and daughter Anna Maria Bella to Lebanon so she can experience her heritage. They hire a taxi driver, Farouk, as their guide. Their trip becomes an unexpected adventure as they encounter various aspects of Lebanese culture. Meanwhile, Zuhair's business rival in America, Sam Rizk, hires a member of the Lebanese mafia, Alsaaour, to eliminate Zuhair, enlisting the help of a notorious and ruthless figure known as "the Russian penguin," resulting in a darkly comedic sequence.
