Offshore (Gallivant) (2007)

The film chronicles a 14 hour 17 minute relay swim across the English Channel undertaken by the author and his brothers Mark and Joey, along with friend Ian Dale, comedian Sean Lock, and actor Tchili. The attempt was observed by Iain Sinclair and narrated by Eden Kötting. Inspired by the 10th anniversary of the film *Gallivant* in 2006, the project began with the unexpected availability of a boat named *The Gallivant* as a support vessel. Interspersed throughout are conversations, field recordings, and voices from the original *Gallivant*, alongside scenes depicting explicit vomiting.
