Description:
Ricardo is a responsible young man who supports his struggling family. However, life in Alitagtag is harsh for him. His father is a gambling addict who owes money to dangerous people. As debts mount, his father evades his creditors. During an argument with his wife over her savings, Ricardo accidentally kills her. He flees the scene. Returning home, he discovers his mother has been murdered. While trying to help her, a neighbor bursts in and accuses him. Ricardo runs again. Separately, his father is killed by a truck, eliminating the only witness to Ricardo's actions.
