Charlotte Pryce presents three delicate, illuminated studies of plants – observations blended with imagination. In these works, fragile leaves and intricate fungal threads intertwine. The plants and depictions of their imagined habitats are closely linked. The title references a rare 17th-century painting style, Forest Floor Paintings, which depicted plants within a natural setting rather than a container.
