Description:
Set in Afghanistan, which appears peaceful after years of conflict but holds hidden tensions, *Toz* unfolds as a family's buried secrets begin to surface. Azra, Emir, and Ahmet are Afghan siblings who grew up in Istanbul. Following their mother’s death, Azra travels to Afghanistan to discover the reason she inherited a house there and to connect with her family. Dismissing her brother Emir's worries, she seeks out her uncle, who is reluctant to share information with her. He is unwelcoming, even rude to his wife and daughter, and uneasy about Azra traveling alone. Azra finds connection with a kind café owner and attempts to reach out to relatives she has just learned about through him.
