Description:
In 2015, facing school closures due to a growing social and political crisis in São Paulo, students took an unprecedented stand by occupying over a thousand public buildings. Filmmaker Eliza Capai documents the evolution of these diverse protests through news footage, interviews with activists, and recordings made on their own cell phones. Starting with initial demonstrations in 2013 and extending to the election of far-right presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro in 2018, Capai's politically charged film becomes increasingly pertinent.
