Müetter (2006)

Stephane, a city dweller who left the countryside behind, is unexpectedly called back home when his grandmother, Muetter, is dying. He travels to her bedside and meets Marguerite, a kind young woman who is pregnant but dedicates herself to caring for Muetter. Stephane is disturbed to learn that Muetter is only being given morphine. Determined to do more, he throws a celebratory feast for her and tries to find another doctor. His arrival also stirs up complicated emotions in his cousin, Mathieu.
