Description:
This animated short film blends humor and originality with striking gay cinematography and emotional depth, enhanced by its use of 16th-century music. It was awarded the TEDDY AWARD for short films at the 54th International Film Festival in Berlin in 2004. The story unfolds at daybreak in a Spanish red-light district, where a performer returns home and removes their makeup while reflecting on the previous night. The film’s soundtrack features "¿Con qué la lavaré?", a lament for single women from medieval times, originally sung in four-part harmony. It serves as a tribute to homosexual artists in the late 1970s, following the end of Franco's dictatorship.
