Description:
Inside a prison in Istanbul, Zakir manages the letters inmates are allowed to receive. His routine involves the censorship office, his coworkers, and an evening writing class. For a writing exercise, he takes a photograph from a letter: it shows Selma, the wife of an inmate. Selma becomes more than just inspiration; she becomes an obsession for Zakir. He watches her, invents stories about her, and dwells on the negative, putting himself in danger.
