Description:
Since childhood, Akito has acted as the interpreter for his deaf mother, Reiko, who has always envisioned him as a concert pianist. As Akito prepares for admission to a top music college, he starts to question his own abilities. He meets Izumi, a vibrant deaf woman who plays in a street band, and is drawn to her spirit. However, Reiko disapproves, worried that Izumi will jeopardize Akito's future in a world dominated by sound. Reiko pushes Akito to prioritize his piano studies, but her high expectations become a weight. Akito then begins to re-evaluate his mother’s perspective on life and his own as he uncovers a hidden truth about her.
