Description:
This collection of three films features stories of journeys from three different countries, each directed by a different filmmaker. "The Sea," by Degena Yun (China), follows a mother and child traveling to the sea from Beijing. "Hekishu," directed by Daishi Matsunaga (Japan), depicts a Japanese businessman's journey in Yangon as he works on infrastructure development and grapples with the emotional impact of his projects on local residents who have lost their homes. Finally, "Variable No. 3," by Edwin (Indonesia), tells of a couple's trip to Tokyo where they encounter a mysterious tour guide and innkeeper who offers them unusual advice.
