Night Bombers (2004)

During the winter of 1943-44, the Royal Air Force conducted relentless nightly bombing raids deep into Germany. This film chronicles one such mission: an attack on Berlin, widely considered the most heavily defended target. The perilous journey over Northern Germany and the difficult return to England resulted in the deaths or severe injuries of thousands of airmen. Despite the inherent danger, the aircrew displayed remarkable bravery, with little visible sign of fear. While some scenes were recreated for technical reasons, the raid depicted is authentic, and no actors are involved.
