Description:
The daughter of Keizo Tsujiguchi, a respected doctor who owns his own hospital, is murdered. Keizo secretly blames his wife, Natsue, suspecting her affair with a colleague distracted her from protecting their child. Instead of directly accusing her, he plots a cruel revenge. Pretending to comfort Natsue, Keizo arranges for them to adopt a baby girl, concealing that the child is the orphaned daughter of the murderer, who died by suicide in police custody. He intends to reveal the truth after Natsue has grown attached to the child, maximizing her pain.
