Description:
Joana, a university student who has recently come to terms with being a lesbian, is confronted with a startling question during a family lunch at her grandmother Clarissa's house. The question shocks Clarissa and Joan, who retreats into childhood memories of the house to avoid it. Among those memories is her aunt Carolina, a close friend of Clarissa’s who was always present. As Joana reflects, she realizes Carolina’s constant presence meant more to her grandmother than just friendship. This journey through the past opens Joana up to the possibility of a deeper connection with her grandmother than she ever imagined.
