Description:
The West Bengal sports minister dispatches a retired, alcoholic football player (Prasenjit Chatterjee) to a volatile village in Purulia to establish a football team, aiming to engage the impoverished community. The coach is subsequently kidnapped by Maoists (led by Parambroto Chatterjee) but later rescued. He decides to remain with the villagers to teach them football, but the ministry abruptly halts the project, sparking conflict with the minister. To revive the initiative, the minister proposes a football match between the village team and a Kolkata academy. If the village team performs well, the project will continue. They achieve an extraordinary performance in the match, securing the project's future.
