Gattan Gattan Soredemo Go (2015)

After her mother's death, Ito Kana, who lives in Tokyo, returns to her hometown of Okuhida, Gifu – a place she actually dislikes due to a difficult childhood. She reconnects with Morita Shinichi, her former classmate, who remains in Okuhida helping his parents at the local onsen, resigned to a life he feels has stifled his dreams. While there, Kana and Shinichi meet Kotani Yoshio, a passionate local who deeply cherishes Okuhida's mines and rail tracks. Kotani's perspective stirs memories for Kana of a single happy experience from her past. Their encounters with Okuhida's heritage begin to shift both Kana and Shinichi's views on life.
