Description:
During Brazil's modernization efforts in the 1970s, a road is rerouted, threatening the existence of a well-known roadside brothel called "Beiço de Estrada." Madame Lili (Darlene Glória), the brothel owner, is left alone after her three daughters abandon her, leaving her with two children: Brás (Rique Messias) and Conceição (Luana Valentin). Brás tries to disrupt traffic by digging holes in the new road, hoping to attract customers. Conceição is kept hidden, as her grandmother wants her to marry a respectable man and end the family's connection to prostitution. Meanwhile, Meota (Jackson Antunes), an aging truck driver, frequently visits "Beiço de Estrada" with the goal of winning Conceição's affection, all while avoiding her grandmother.
