Jean de la Lune (1949)

Marceline is beautiful but unreliable. Her brother, equally odd and intrusive, acts as a messenger between her and her various lovers. She's been involved with Richard for a while when Jeff, an attractive but irresponsible romantic, falls deeply in love with her. Marceline initially rejects him but eventually accepts him after leaving Richard. However, she continues her flirtations, which Jeff, a naive young florist nicknamed "Jean de la Lune," ignores. Shortly after their wedding, Marceline becomes captivated by the good looks of Alexandre, prompting Jeff to step in and protect his marriage.
