Ocean of Fear (2007)

Ocean of Fear: Worst Shark Attack Ever premiered in 2007 to mark the 20th anniversary of Discovery Channel's Shark Week. The film focuses on the shark attacks that happened after the USS Indianapolis sank. Hundreds of surviving crew members were stranded in the water for four days before being rescued, enduring repeated shark attacks during that time. To understand the attacks and the survivors’ strategies, Discovery Channel enlisted renowned shark attack expert George H. Burgess to investigate why the sharks behaved as they did and how the men fought for survival. The movie aired on July 29, 2007, the day before the anniversary of the ship's sinking in 1945.
