Description:
In 1937, during the brutal Japanese invasion of China, the city of Nanking becomes the site of horrific atrocities known as "The Rape of Nanking," where tens of thousands of civilians and prisoners are murdered and women are raped. This film tells the story of a group of brave American missionaries who decide to remain in Nanking to protect a quarter of a million defenseless Chinese civilians trapped in the city under the control of a ruthless Japanese army.
