Description:
This is the story of Amir Reko, nicknamed "Macedonian" but of Bosnian Muslim ethnicity, a former captain in the Yugoslav People's Army. During the siege of Gorazde in 1992, he risked everything to save the lives of 44 Serb civilians. Throughout the war, he faced difficult personal and professional choices. While many other officers were later prosecuted in international courts, he chose a different path.
