In 2003, three young filmmakers journeyed to Africa seeking a story. Their filmmaking trip became deeply impactful when they encountered a disturbing tragedy in northern Uganda – children used as soldiers and victims of conflict. Back home, they made the documentary "Invisible Children: Rough Cut," revealing the harsh realities faced by those living in constant fear. Initially shared with friends and family, the film resonated widely, prompting a powerful question: How can we help? This led to the creation of Invisible Children, Inc., a non-profit organization offering people a tangible way to respond to the crisis.
