Denizden Gelen (2010)

Police officer Halil shoots and injures an undocumented immigrant during a duty-related confrontation. As his trial proceeds, he returns to his family home in Dalyan. A human trafficking boat sinks off the coast of Aşı Koyu, resulting in casualties and survivors. Halil discovers Jordan, one of the survivors, and brings him to the hospital. There, a nurse named Yaren encourages Halil to connect with Jordan, who has a father working illegally in Greece. Halil assists Jordan in finding his father. Melek Dinç, a Ghanaian undocumented immigrant working in the Dalaman Municipality's Public Relations Department, takes Jordan under her care, offering him support like a mother would.
