Description:
In South Africa's Mala Mala Game Reserve, a young male leopard named Tjololo struggles to establish himself. This film follows the four-year-old leopard as he fights for survival and a place within the leopard community. Weighing seventy kilos, Tjololo expertly hunts, but securing his kills from other predators demands difficult lessons and fierce battles. He faces threats from hyenas as he tries to claim his food, learning that success is often narrowly achieved. "Stalking Leopards" intimately chronicles Tjololo's path to adulthood: claiming territory, battling rivals, finding a mate, and hunting. Surrounded by lions, buffalo, hyenas, elephants, and impalas, Tjololo must learn to thrive independently.
