Description:

In a typical Soviet industrial town, distinguished only by its radio telescope, the inhabitants begin acting strangely, like robots. They adopt names based on geometric shapes and form a new social order. This odd behavior spreads through a device of unknown origin called "the Mediator," which allows extraterrestrial minds to inhabit human bodies. These aliens are restricted by Earth technology and must use human resources to prepare for an invasion. Because "the Mediator" cannot control children, the mentally ill, geniuses, or those who resist, a fight for the town's future and humanity itself begins.
