Podmo Patar Jol (2015)

Set in late 19th-century Bengal, the film depicts a time when powerful landowners, the Zaminders, held complete control over people's lives. Rizwan, the only son of a prominent Zaminder in rural Bengal, is sent to the city for advanced studies by his father. However, Rizwan is more drawn to poetry than academics. While living in the city, he is persuaded by friends to visit the Jhumri Mahal at a Baizi Bari, where dancers reside.
