Filmmaker Kris Ostness (Wind-Up Films/Flying Circus) has joined forces with Henrik Rostrup (Push Films/Not Another Ski Movie) to create Teddybear Crisis. The team revisits iconic Utah jumps from Ostness's past and finds new ones. Even the famous Upper/Lower Flagstaff and Pyramid, both 90-foot drops, seem small compared to Tanner Hall’s 120-foot backward Chad’d5s Gap, skied at 53mph with a switch 900 landing. The crew explores backcountry spots, large ski parks, kickers over halfpipes, and freeskiing locations in the Alps, Alaska, and Utah, capturing close-up action. The opening was filmed on 35mm with a full rock video production team in Oslo, Norway, signaling a new approach to ski filmmaking with fresh style and intense action. Filmed on 16mm and 35mm in Europe, Scandinavia, Utah, California, and Alaska. Features an eclectic soundtrack.
