Set in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, two large national motorcycle festivals take place around Memorial Day. One is largely attended by white bikers, the other by black bikers. Though bikers from both groups participate in both events, the city, community, and state perceive the festivals very differently, creating division among attendees, business owners, and residents. Against the backdrop of the area's history of segregation, this documentary examines differing perspectives on segregation and integration, the shared passion for motorcycle culture, and the racial tensions that escalate each spring in this popular southern beach destination.
