Moving (2003)

Ngau Tau Kok Estate is a large, historic public housing community in Hong Kong, home to many elderly people living alone and working-class families. After the government announced redevelopment plans in 2001, residents have been moved to new housing. The film follows two social workers assisting residents through this relocation process, offering a look into the lives of the elderly. It’s a portrait of our parents and grandparents.
