Rock music is often seen as a genre for young people, but Nick Rock-n-Roll, the film’s main character, disagrees. At 48, he still feels music intensely and seeks something unique and unconventional, avoiding typical rock stereotypes. The film follows Nick as he explores the world of new independent rock music in Russia. This immersion triggers memories, prompting him to examine his lifelong passion for rock. His constant search for something new helps Nick feel younger, fueling his ongoing desire to discover it. The film features four independent bands: Bosch's With You, Last Tanks in Paris (П.Т.В.П.), Deti Picasso, and Salvador.
