For 30 years living in Tokyo, he has written popular songs for leading Japanese musicians, penned lyrics for anime film scores, and been involved in the city’s avant-garde art scene. "Ink Music: In The Land Of The Hundred-Tongued Lyricist" is a 90-minute documentary exploring Mosdell's artistic collaborations and career. Filmed in Tokyo, Fukui, Japan, and New York City, the film follows his journey from an obscure poet to a renowned lyricist for Japan’s iconic band, Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO). Told through exclusive interviews, the film also showcases Tokyo as a key influence on Mosdell's work, featuring extensive original footage from within the city.
