Eiger Solo (2004)

Eric Jones is a renowned extreme sports athlete, known for his daring jumps from buildings and bridges, and pioneering cliff jumps from locations like the Eiger North Face and Angel Falls in Venezuela. He was part of a team that flew a hot air balloon over Mount Everest, but his ultimate goal was to climb the treacherous North Wall of the Eiger solo. Jones has previously completed solo ascents of the Matterhorn's North Face, Piz Badille, and the Bonatti Pillar on the Dru. This film, directed and filmed by Leo Dickinson, has won numerous awards, including Best Mountaineering Film at festivals in Canada, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the USA, as well as the Gravity Sports Grand Prize.
