Forty Two (2013)

After completing my first marathon, I felt words couldn't capture the experience. I wanted to make a film about it, using visuals – characters, sounds, lights, and the physical sensations of the race: the sun, the water, the movement, the quiet moments. I want to share what it truly feels like to run a marathon with those who haven’t, like my mother who struggles with leg pain. I'm approaching the marathon as an observer, bringing something back from within.
