Everything Moves Alone (2001)

"Everything Moves Alone" begins in a quiet New England town where Scotch, a soldier recently released from service, arrives at the bus station intending to stay with his estranged older brother. He notices a peculiar man stealing luggage and is offered a ride into town in exchange for helping to sabotage another man's car by placing dirt and a frog-shaped flower pot inside. Scotch, seemingly unstable, agrees and immediately draws the anger of McDunley, the owner of the local video store – a gruff man with a long-standing conflict with Anderson, the luggage thief, who quickly befriends Scotch.
