Description:

The film’s historical images reveal her ongoing struggle. A new epilogue shows how the film and a related outreach campaign garnered national attention, including support from Congressman Henry Waxman. This led to a federal mandate for a clean-up plan from the agencies responsible for uranium contamination. Unexpectedly, Ms. Begay's property was initially excluded from the EPA's clean-up plan until she screened the film on Capitol Hill in September 2008.
