Description:
Shadowland presents a fresh take on vampire stories, set in modern North America. Construction workers find an old stone cross and a wooden stake. When they remove the stake, a dormant vampire named Laura (Caitlin McIntosh) awakens. Weak and disoriented, she has no memory of her past or her vampiric nature. As Laura struggles to understand the present, fragmented memories of an idyllic life in 1897 surface, along with a mysterious lover named Lazarus (Carlos Antonio León) who may harbor hidden intentions. Soon, Julian (Jason Contini), a jaded vampire hunter working for the church, begins pursuing Laura, but his mission takes a complicated turn as he discovers the truth about her.
