Quest for the Phoenicians (2004)

Two scientists and an explorer journey to Lebanon to investigate the ancient Phoenicians. The scientists are using genetics to trace the connection between modern Lebanese people and the Phoenicians, based on bone discoveries from archaeological sites. Simultaneously, the explorer attempts to map the Phoenicians' shipping and sailing routes, exploring their history as aggressive explorers who discovered and conquered lands throughout the Mediterranean.
