A series of scenes depicting car races, airplanes, airports, and people in waiting are interwoven with images of a soaring eagle and a bison in fog. The film uses sustained music and silence, employing non-verbal editing to create a hypnotic rhythm from the juxtaposition of sound and frozen images. This suspended world highlights the distance inherent in Gagnon's films and our own perspective. We observe and judge from afar, desiring to connect with and change this reality. However, the era of human control is over; machines now dictate our lives, prioritizing speed and worry. In this free association of images, body language communicates more powerfully than words.
