Description:
Gilbert works at the Bank of France, tasked with destroying old banknotes. He lives with his wife, Gisèle, and their son, Thomas. Years ago, he was part of a rock band with Serge and Gisèle's brother, Marc. Marc exploited Gilbert’s trust, convincing him he'd been robbed of a briefcase containing a million dollars and that Gilbert was responsible for Marc's impending death. Marc’s plan is to pressure Gilbert into disabling the bank's incinerator to aid a robbery. Gilbert initially refuses but eventually complies, only to realize he's been deceived. Seeking revenge, he informs the police of the robbery's date and time.
