Horizon (2016)

In Sydney, a lively city with a growing LGBTQ+ community, 19-year-old Jake travels from his rural hometown to meet AJ, a 28-year-old he's been chatting with online for months. Their connection is complicated when AJ's history of infidelity and sex addiction is revealed. Despite this setback, Jake chooses to stay in Sydney, finding support in Wilma Bumhurt, a sharp-tongued drag queen who quickly becomes his best friend and roommate. Jake and AJ attempt to rekindle their relationship, but AJ cheats with Jake's closeted high school friend Micky, who is visiting with his girlfriend Millie. Meanwhile, Wilma's mother, Yvonne, is shocked to discover her estranged son Dennis is now a drag queen. When Wilma's father unexpectedly dies, she is barred from the funeral but finds a unique and moving way to say goodbye.
