El Peste (2018)

Abner leads a bleak, isolated life, having been deserted by his wife. His job at Panther Pest Control is his only link to the world. His routine is disrupted when he meets Viola, a client whose life mirrors his own sadness. Viola, wife of the self-absorbed college professor Dodie, feels stifled and sees a chance for freedom in Abner. Their connection deepens amidst the rat-infested house, sparking a dangerous affair hidden from Dodie. To maintain their relationship, Abner takes a drastic step that ultimately leads to tragedy and irrevocably alters both their lives.
