Écorce (2017)

Eléa has a serious medical condition that makes her skin very fragile, requiring constant care. Her mother installs BandaSmart, a bandage device that tracks Eléa's health data on a tablet. Eléa resists wearing the device, feeling it’s like “armor.” During a family outing, she suggests playing hide-and-seek with her cousin and then uses the opportunity to remove the bandages and run off into the woods by herself.
