Night Life Hero (1992)

Chung (Max Mok) and Peter (Chin Kar Lok) are two close friends, with Chung frequently rescuing Peter from financial trouble. When a loan shark (Shing Fui On) and his thugs aggressively pursue Peter over his mounting debt, Chung creates a plan to bring the criminals to justice. This unfolds at a fortunate time, as Peter announces his upcoming wedding and Chung finds himself falling in love. However, Chung is unaware that his new love is the daughter of a powerful real estate mogul, and all of his recent opportunities are being engineered by her father. These challenges intensify when Chung's old enemy is released from prison and immediately seeks revenge.
