Ottavio Mario Mai (2002)

He aimed to fill this void through his films – documentaries, fiction, poetic shorts, and experimental works – which directly address gay, transgender, and bisexual people, their relationships, families, and experiences with betrayal and everyday life. He explores these themes across various genres, pioneering a level of openness previously unseen in Italian cinema.
