Description:
This heist movie, with a playful energy reminiscent of The Monkees and the style of 1960s Batman, is a comedic whirlwind featuring drag queens. Hedda Lettuce and Miss Understood play two down-on-their-luck performers in New York City in 1992. Their poorly thought-out plan to become bank robbers disguised as Bonnie and Bunny in elaborate dresses unexpectedly brings them fame and wealth, allowing them to hire a high-end interior decorator specializing in rococo. However, their success sparks the jealousy of Brenda, a spiteful woman with a Morticia Adams-like personality, and Violet, a dominatrix, who plot to sabotage their newfound fortune.
